PRIMARY student from The English School Of Kyrenia have put on a show for their teachers and fellow classmates. The class of 39 students performed their rendition of The Jungle Book, based on the collection of stories by Rudyard Kipling and the music from the Disney adaptation. The 10 and 11-year olds dressed up in costumes and put on face paint.
Parents and friends of the school were invited to watch the show. The event marks the moment when the children graduate from primary school. Many students will continue with their education at ESK others will move on to secondary school elsewhere on the island while others will move abroad.
Susan Cater one of three of the year six team that includes James Barker and Asgul Suman said the school attracted children from all over the world. The child staring as Mowgli this year is Bulgarian and speaks English and well as two other languages.
